Rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Sunday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at a few places over Chattogram division and at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal, Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions.

Day temperature may rise by (1-2)°C and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 35.0 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and the minimum was 22.3 degrees at Rajshahi.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 33.4 degrees Celsius on Saturday and the lowest was 26.1 degrees.
