RAJUK planner among 2 sued by ACC

The Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) filed Sunday a case against two persons, including an urban planner of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), on graft changes, reports UNB.

ACC assistant director SM Rafiqul Islam filed the case with Motijheel Thana, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told the news agency.

The case was filed against RAJUK deputy urban planner M Ashraf Ali Akond and senior executive director of Eastern Housing Limited Nazim Newaz Chowdhury.

According to the first information report (FIR), managing director of Buriganga Real Estate Limited Alamgir Hossain on behalf of his company submitted an application to Rajuk on August 27, 2013 seeking approval to use 16-katha land in the city's Badda area.
