The World Raymen, a consortium for peace-keeping and voluntary aids, has distributed Eid clothes among 100 school going street children like previous years, said a press release.
The distribution ceremony was held on the Shishu Academy premises Saturday evening.
Safiul Azam, chief raymen (president), Md Lokman Hossain, secretary general, Abdus Satter Patuary, organising secretary, and Naim-Ul-Karim, former president and convener, of the World Raymen, among others, were present at the Eid clothes distribution programme.
Since its establishment in 2004, Dhaka-based the World Raymen, which serves people irrespective of cast, color, sex and religion, every year distributes Eid clothes among the poor children before the Eid-ul-Fitr.
