RCC Mayor for well-planned communication network

RANGPUR, Nov 27 (BSS): Mayor of Rangpur City Corporation (RCC) and valiant freedom fighter (FF) Sarfuddin Ahmed Jhantu today stressed for turning Rangpur into a modern city with well-planned road communication network.

He said this while launching road carpeting works of five roads and construction of a drainage system at Burirhat,Bahadursingh, Islambag, Mulatol Pukurpar, Lalbag Hat and Mekura Barobari under different wards in the city this afternoon as the chief guest.

These construction work are being implemented under the phase-wise construction packages of 142 roads, drains, culverts, drainage systems and other infrastructures under 142 groups at the cost of Tk 330 million in the city.

RCC Councillors Fazlul Haque (Ward No-6), Shafikul Islam Dulal (Ward No-19,), Tauhidul Islam (Ward No-20), Idris Ali (Ward No-28), Sultan Ahmed (Ward No-33) Mahbubar Rahman Manju (Ward No-21) and Shahjalal Karim Bakul (Ward No-22) were present.
