Rear Admiral Ashraful Hoq joins BSMR maritime university as VC

Rear Admiral Ashraful Hoq Chowdhury joined BSMR Maritime University, Bangladesh , as the 4th vice chancellor on Monday, says a press release.
The flag officer was commissioned in the executive branch of Bangladesh Navy on January 1, 1988.
His maritime expertise encompasses commanding various Naval Ships, including Missile Boats, Patrol Crafts, OPV and Frigate BNS ABU BAKR. He has also commanded naval base BNS HAJI MOHSIN.
Rear Admiral Ashraf also represented BN in various seminars and high-level delegation both at home and abroad.He was also the Senate Member of BSMR Maritime University.
