Record files stolen from Magura Settlement Office

MAGURA, July 26: Valuable record files of Mohammadpur Settlement Office of Magura district were stolen from the office recently. The owners of the lands, whose documents have been stolen, are concerned about this. The record keeper of the office, Rabindranath Halder has been arrested.
On hearing the news, Jessore Zonal Settlement Officer Tahsinur Rahman and the UNO of Mohammadpur Upazila visited the spot of theft.
One of the office sources said, the incident of theft might be an incident of conspiracy. Another source said, this incident happened due to an internal feud among the office staff.
