Regent Hospital chairman Shahed arrested again

Md Shahed, also known as Shahed Karim, the chairman of Regent Hospital who was jailed over allegations of issuing fake Covid-19 test reports during the pandemic, has been arrested again by police.

The arrest was made from the ECB Chattar area in the capital on Monday afternoon, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Cantonment Police Station Md Rakibul Hasan said.

The OC said Shahed was arrested in connection with an outstanding arrest warrant in a case and was later handed over to Pallabi Police Station following a request from the station.
