Restoration of Kakon's MPC membership demanded

AS Kakon, a member of Moulvibazar Press Club (MPC), has raised allegation against the Moulvibazar Press Club President and General Secretary for not restoring her membership despite a High Court directive six months ago to resolve the issue in 30 working days.

At a press conference at Dhaka Reporters' Unity on Thursday, district Correspondent of the Daily Bhorer Pata and the People's Time Kakon, said the High Court Division Bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Mohammad Mustifizur Rahman directed Registrar, Joint Stock Company, to resolve the issue within 30 working days on December 5, 2021.

Bangladesh Nari Sangbadik Kendra (BNSK) President Nasimun Ara Haque also spoke at the press conference demanding restoration of Kakon's membership which was illegally suspended on false allegation of breaching organisational disciplines and on personal grievance against the BNSK member despite Kakon was elected with huge votes as member of the Press Club executive committee.
