RMG worker commits suicide in city

A teenage ready-made garment (RMG) worker hanged herself from a ceiling fan with a scarf at Bashantek Natun Basti area in the capital.
She was identified as Riya Akter (15). The incident happened at around 11:39 pm on Wednesday night.
She was rushed to Kurmitola General Hospital where the doctor-on-duty declared her dead.
A police official at Bashantek police station said the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
