Road crash kills 3 in Sirajganj

SIRAJGANJ, Feb 2 (UNB): Three people were killed and 15 others injured when a truck collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the Parkula Bazaar area of Shahjadpur Upazila Monday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.

Police said the accident took place when the Bogra-bound truck collided head-on with the auto-rickshaw in the area around 8.00am, leaving three passengers of the auto-rickshaw dead on the spot, 15 others injured.

Police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.

The injured were admitted to a local hospital.
