Road crash kills woman in city

A young woman was killed in a road accident at Malibagh in the capital on Saturday.
The victim was identified as Runa Akter (32), wife of Md Bachchu Mia, of Kalpur village in Sadar upazila of Madaripur district.
The accident took place around 8:30 am when a passenger bus of Ramjan Pariban, bearing the registration number of Dhaka Metro Bha 11-8860, hit her while she was crossing the road in Malibagh Bazar area.
She died on the spot. Police seized the bus, but its driver managed to flee the spot.
