Road crashes kill woman, two minor boys

A woman and two minor boys were killed in separate road accidents in Netrakona and Chapainawabganj districts on Sunday morning, report agencies.

In Netrakona, a woman and her minor son were killed in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and an auto-rickshaw on Netrakona-Madan road in Laxmiganj area in Sadar upazila.

The dead are Tania Akhter (30), wife of Habibur Rahman of Mirzapur village in Atpara upazila and her son Momen (6).

In C'nawabganj, a minor boy was killed after being hit by a minibus at Hogla in Gomostapur upazila on Sunday morning.

The dead is Ibrahim (7), son of Anarul of the village.

Aminul Islam, sub-inspector of Gomostapur thana, said the minibus hit Ibrahim while he was crossing the road near his house around 8:00 am, leaving him dead on the spot.
