BHOLA, Aug 9 (UNB): Robbers took away over Tk 0.1 million (one lakh) from a fish trader after killing him at Alimuddin Bazar in Borhanuddin Upazila early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Sagar, (25).
Police said being informed by the local people they recovered the body of Sagar from the bazar in the morning. Local people said after selling Hilsa Fish at a wholesale depot in Dhaka he returned to the bazar with the money late at night.
Police suspected that the robbers took away the cash after strangulating him to death.
The body was sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.
