A roundtable discussion on 'The Need for Industry-University Collaboration in the Field of Engineering and Computer Science' was held at the GDLN Centre in BRAC University on Thursday, says press release.
Office of Career Services and Alumni Relations (OCSAR) and School of Engineering and Computer Science (SECS) of BRAC University organised the programme.
Vice Chancellor of BRAC University Professor Syed Saad Andaleeb was the key speaker.
Among others, Director of OCSAR Khan A N Murshid (Moderator), Chairperson of the department of Computer Science and Engineering Professor Md Haider Ali, Chairperson of the department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Professor of BRAC University A A Ziauddin Ahmad, Chief Technology Officer of Therap (BD) Ltd. Mr Mojahedul Hoque Abul Hasanat, Head of Solutions Development (SD) of BRAC IT Services Limited Mr Syed Roquibul Ahsan were also present in the discussion.
