An official of private television channel RTV was crushed to death under the wheels of a train while crossing a level-crossing in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Polash Roy, son of late Bhanu Roy of Astagram Upazila of Kishoreganj.
Assistant sub-inspector of Kamalapur railway Thana Jahidur Rahman said when Polash was passing the Kuril Biswaroad level-crossing, a Kamalapur rail station-bound train hit him , leaving him dead on the sport at around 7:45am.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.
