RU convocation on December 17

The 12th convocation of Rajshahi University (RU) is scheduled to be held on December 17 at the university's central stadium, as confirmed today by Professor Dr. Md. Akhtar Hossain Mazumder, Administrator of the university's Public Relations Office.

Speaking to reporters, Prof. Mazumder stated that all preparations are currently underway to ensure that the upcoming convocation is a grand and memorable event.

"The 12th convocation of Rajshahi University will take place on December 17. However, no new registrations will be allowed at this stage," he added.

When asked about the chief guest for the ceremony, Prof. Mazumder mentioned that the university authorities have not yet made a final decision. "We will announce the name of the chief guest and other distinguished guests once everything is finalized," he explained.

The upcoming convocation is a significant milestone for Rajshahi University, with thousands of graduates from various faculties and institutes expected to receive their degrees and medals in the presence of university officials, faculty members, and dignitaries from across the country.

University sources have reported that the administration has already begun preparations to decorate the campus and ensure the smooth management of the event.
