RAJSHAHI, July 7: The 54th founding anniversary of the Rajshahi University (RU) was observed on its campus in a befitting manner Saturday.
Vice Chancellor Altaf Hossain and Pro Vice Chancellor Mamnunul Keramat jointly inaugurated the programme at the foot of 'Shabash Bangladesh' sculpture.
They observed the march past and took salute of the BNCC cadets and the rover scouts.
Vice Chancellor said that the RU is an institution catering for required higher education and research of the nation.
He also said thousands of the university students are now employed in various professions for the development and welfare of the country through their intellect and experiences.
