The officer-in-charge (OC) of Rupganj thana Mohammad Maniruzzaman has been withdrawn following the directives of the Election Commission, reports UNB.
Inspector Abdul Haq was assigned as the new OC of the thana on Thursday morning, said Mohammad Anisuddin Bahadur, senior assistant superintendent (circle C) of Narayanganj Police.
