SAARC cabinet meet begins today

The second meeting of the SAARC Cabinet Secretaries will be held on April 26-27 at Ruposhi Bangla Hotel in the city, reports BSS.

Apart from Bangladesh, the cabinet secretaries from Afghanistan, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will attend the meeting.

An eight-member Bangladesh delegation headed by the cabinet secretary already has been formed to participate in the meeting.

The two-day meeting will begin today Saturday with a call-on with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganobhaban.

The Prime Minister will give directives to the cabinet secretaries of the SAARC countries about the discussion of the meeting.
