Sabrunnesa Begum passes away

Prominent social worker Sabrunnesa Begum, 89, passed away at a hospital in Chattogram on Monday, says a statement.

She was mother-in-law of Bangladesh Steel Manufacturers Association President and GPH Group Chairman Mohammad Jahangir Alam.

She left behind four sons and four daughters and a host of well-wishers to mourn her death.

Her Namaz-e janaza was held on Monday after Isha prayers at Jamiatul Falah Mosque grounds.

She was buried at Garibullah Shah Mazar in Chattogram.
