Salvaged cargo taken to Sharankhola range office

Bagerhat, June 10 (UNB): The forest department has taken the potash-laden cargo vessel which sank in the Sundarbans under its custody, reports UNB.
The vessel was taken to Sharankhola Range office of the Sundarbans East Zone on Wednesday, five days after it was pulled out from the Bhola River.
Earlier, forest department employing local labours managed to remove seven metric tons of potash from the cargo after it capsized on May 5.
