Samad’s death anniv today

The first death anniversary of eminent banker MA Samad Sheikh, former managing director and CEO of Al-Arafah Islami Bank, will be observed today (Thursday), said a press release.

To mark the occasion, a Dua and Milad Mahfil will be held at the deceased's residence at New Eskaton Road in the city.

Relatives and admirers have been requested to pray for eternal peace of the departed soul.

Mr Samad had played a crucial role in the financial sector as the top executive of many organisations such as AIBL Capital Market Services, deputy managing director of Agrani Bank, etc, the release added.
