CHITTAGONG, Mar 17 (UNB): A schoolboy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at East Gomdondi in the Boalkhali municipality area on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Ali Hasan Sifat Talukder, 15, a class X student of Gomdondi Pilot Model High School and son of Saudi expatriate Abu Mohammad.
As he was not opening the door for long, his family members broke open the door around 8:30 am and found him hanging from the ceiling fan, said his elder sister Abida Sultana.
On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body around 11:30am, said Arifur Rahman, Sub Inspector of Boalkhali Police Station.
