SDMC holds governing body meet in New Delhi

The second meeting of the governing body for SAARC Disaster Management Centre (SDMC) was held at a local hotel in New Delhi, India recently.
SAARC Disaster Manage-ment Centre Chairperson KH Masud Siddiqui presided over the meeting.
Members of the governing body from the SAARC member countries attended the meeting.
The meeting approved the perspective plan and networking plan of SDMC. The board also considered the concept paper prepared on possible areas of collaboration with international organisations and UN agencies for developing programmes on disaster risk reduction.
