Security measures have been stepped up in and around the Supreme Court (SC) following recovery of bombs from courtrooms on Sunday, reports BSS.
Additional numbers of law enforcement agencies have been deployed in the apex court area in the capital. Both the plain-cloth and uniform police have been performing duties in the court area.
Litigants and lawyers have been allowed to enter the SC premises after search.
SC Registrar SM Kuddus Zaman said, "Stringent security measures have been taken in the Supreme Court area to ward off any untoward incidents. Law enforcers are now conducting search of the suspected people."
"Contact to the authority concerned has already been made to take necessary security measures in the SC area," he said, adding that none will be harassed in the name of search.
Three crude bombs were recovered from inside two courtrooms Sunday that created panic among judges, lawyers, litigants, staffs and others.
