COMILLA, Jul 12 (UNB): Railway Minister M Mazibul Hoque said Saturday security measures will be tightened in trains and railway stations ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr.
"To prevent subversive acts and to serve the passengers properly RAB, BGB, police will be deployed round the clock at all stations," he said while addressing a views-exchange meeting with Bangladesh Railway (East Zone) officials at Laksam Railway junction.
The minister said the advance tickets sale will start from July 20 to prevent black marketing.
He also said that on the occasion of the Eid, 166 bogies will be added in the inter-service trains.
