Gary K Schoolnik MD, Professor of Medicine, Microbiology and Immunology and Senior Fellow, Woods Institute for the Environment, Stanford University spoke at a CHPD seminar entitled 'Environmental Change in Bangladesh and its Impact on the Ecology and Evolution of Cholera' organised by The Centre for Health, Population and Development (CHPD) at the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) in its Baridhara campus recently, said a press release.
Professor Omar Rahman, Pro- Vice Chancellor, IUB and Executive Director of the CHPD, moderated the seminar.
The presentation highlighted the impact of environmental change on new varieties of cholera.
