Seven DU-affiliated colleges’ admission test held

The admission tests of seven government colleges affiliated with Dhaka University (DU) for 'Arts and Social Science' unit and DU 'Technology' unit was held for the 'Undergraduate Programme' under 2022-23 academic session on Friday.

The test of seven DU-affiliated colleges was held from 11am to 12am and the DU 'Technology' unit test was held from 3:30pm to 5pm, said a press release.

A total of 37,527 students applied against 9,979 seats of 'Arts and Social Science' unit where around four students will vie for one seat.

However, a total of 14,242 students applied against 1,555 seats of 'Technology' unit of Dhaka University where around nine students will vie for one seat.

DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman visited Dhaka College exam center with 'Arts and Social Science' unit test coordinator and DU Social Science Faculty Dean Prof Dr Zia Rahman. DU VC also visited Curzon hall centre with 'Technology' unit test coordinator Prof Dr Hafiz Md Hasan Babu and others.
