Sewing training centre for poor women opened

CHITTAGONG, July 21: A sewing training centre for the poor and destitute women, who are living in the slum areas, has been opened under the management of Rotary Club of Chittagong Mid City at Sardar Bahadur School Camp at Jhautala area in Chittagong Friday.
While inaugurating the sewing training centre, Rotary Club President Ali Hossain Akbar Ali expressed his optimism that the newly inaugurated centre would impart necessary training facilities to the unskilled poor women living in the slum areas so that they can become efficient human resources.
Also present at the inaugural function were Asia Group Managing Director Habib Mohiuddin, Rotarian ABM Wadud Ullah, Rotarian Abdus Salam, Secretary Sajjad Md Chowdhury, Vocational Service Director Ahmed Jibran Sani, Rotarian Abu Bakkar, Md Shamsul Alam, Sheikh Jalal Uddin, MZ Azam and Haider Hossain Badal.
