Sexagenarian man beaten to death

COMILLA, Aug 30 (UNB): Abdul Mazid (65), a sexagenarian man, was beaten to death at Baro Alampur village under Debidwar Upazila Wednesday.
Witnesses said Abdul Mazid and Khorshed Alam had an altercation over cutting a branch of a mango tree at 12:00 noon.
At one stage, Khorshed's son Babu beat Mazid mercilessly, leaving him critically injured.
He died on way to the local hospital.
