Signal no. 3 to continue in maritime ports

Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal no. three as a well-marked low is persisting over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining area, reports UNB.
The deep depression over coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining area moved north-northeastwards weakened into depression and then into a well-marked low over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining area, according to a met office weather bulletin issued on Tuesday.
It is likely to move north-northeasterly direction further and weaken gradually by giving precipitation, said a special bulletin of the Met office.
