Six Ctg colleges to raise 1000 seats in Class XI

CHITTAGONG, Aug 5: With a view to solving the admission crisis in the intermediate colleges, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Chittagong has increased one thousand extra seats in class XI of six colleges in the city, BISE sources said.

According to the Chittagong Board sources, the step has been taken for accommodating more brilliant students in the current session. The decision was taken after studying the manpower and infrastructures of different colleges.

The colleges which have been selected to admit more students are: Chittagong Government College, Government Commerce College, Government Women College, Government City College, Navy Public School and College, Cantonment Public School and College.
