MADARIUR, Dec 17: A dacoity was committed in the house of Narayan Poddar at the Puranbazar commercial area of the Madaripur district town Sunday.
Breaking the collapsible gate, a gang of dacoits entered the Narayan's house looted 5 bhoris of gold and 5 mobile phone sets.
Narayan Poddar (55), his son Gopal Poddar (30) and Subas (28) were injured when they resisted dacoits.
Police arrested Sumon (27), Sohel (22), Mohon (20), Kalu (22), Milon (22), and Sumon (28) in this connection.
Madaripur police super Debdas Vattacharya visited the spot.
A case was filed with Madaripur thana.
