Sports organiser Bilkis Chy dies

CHITTAGONG, Jun  29 (BSS): Noted sports organiser and educationist of the port city Bilkis Rashed Chowdhury died of jaundice at a Bangkok hospital early Saturday. She was 61.

Wife of noted industrialist late Rashed Asgar Chowdhury, she left behind five daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.

Her body was brought to Chittagong Sunday.

The namaj-e-Janaza of Bilkis will be held at Chittagong Jamatul Falah Mosque after Zohr prayers today (Monday). She will be buried at her family graveyard, family sources said.
