Squally wind likely today

Light to moderate rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Saturday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at a few places over Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and the minimum was 22.4 degrees at Sayedpur.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 33.7 degrees Celsius on Friday and the lowest was 24.7 degrees.
