Student found dead inside college dorm in city

A first year student of Cambrian School and College was found dead at his room in the college hostel Friday, police said, reports BSS.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Muhammad Sarwar Hossain of Bhatara thana confirmed the death saying: "The deceased was identified as Md Saiful Islam (18), a first year student of the college."

Police recovered the body at about 9:00 am from his room, he added.

Details could not be known immediately but police suspect that it might be a case of suicide. The body is yet to send to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.

The OC told the news agency that the hostel super is being interrogated in this connection.
