Student killed in city road accident -

A student of Tejgaon Govt. Science College attached high school was killed in a road accident in the capital on Sunday morning.

Tenth grader Ali Hossain (17), who hailed from Krishnapur village under Muladi upazila of Barishal district, was hit by a speedy car at Tibbat area in the city while he was crossing the road on his way to school.

The victim was first taken to a local hospital and then shifted to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the attending doctors declared him dead around 8:30am, hospital sources said.
