Students call for CMC principal's resignation

CHATTOGRAM, Aug 20: Students at Chittagong Medical College (CMC) on Tuesday staged a sit-in demonstration demanding the resignation of Principal Prof. Dr. Shahena Akter, accusing her of adopting an opposition-stance against the students in the Quota Reform Movement, which turned into the Anti Discrimination Student Movement last month.

Students took position in front of the principal's office in the morning and chanted slogans to press home their one-point demand of her immediate resignation.
