Student's sit-in against border killing continues

Nasir Abdullah, a Dhaka University (DU) student, continued a sit-in proramme in front of Raju Sculpture of the campus on Monday for the third consecutive day in protest against killing of Bangladeshis on borders by Indian Border Security Force (BSF).

Nasir, MBA student of the Marketing Department, began the sit-in on Saturday, demanding a halt to border killings and trial of all such killing incidents.

He said he would continue the agitation programme until he sees any effective step from the Bangladesh government side to stop border killings.
