Students to get textbooks in time: Nahid

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said students from Class-I to Class-IX would get textbooks in time despite the fire in the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) warehouse and there was no reason to be worried about it, reports BSS.
He said this Sunday while talking to the journalists at the conference room of the NCTB after a meeting of the National Monitoring Committee for Supplying Textbooks.
Minister for Primary and Mass Education Dr Afsarul Amin, State Minister Motahar Hossain and NCTB Chairman Prof Mostafa Kamal were present in the meeting.
Nahid said the ministry is giving top priority to the issue and providing extra energy, finance and time after the fire incident to provide books for millions of students.
