Take escort service for safe transportation of money: DMP

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) reiterated its offer for the city dwellers to get escort services for the safe and secured transportation of large sums of money during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr, reports BSS.

"If any individual, bank or financial institution feels that they need police assistance to transfer a large amount of money, we will provide them with escort services," said a DMP press release on Sunday.

The individual or organisation seeking police assistance is advised to contact the relevant police station, the police control room or the National Emergency Number 999, he said.
