Teen killed in N\\\'ganj boat capsize

NARAYANGANJ, Dec 12 (UNB): A teenage boy was killed and two persons were injured as a small boat capsized in the Shitalakkhya River in Siddhirganj after being hit by a bulkhead Friday noon.

The deceased was identified as Shakil Miah, 17, son of Abdul Ali of the SO Road area in Siddhirganj.

In-charge of Narayanganj river police camp Samsul Alam said the boat sank in the Dhakeshwari Kheyaghat after it was hit by the sand-laden bulkhead around 12 noon.

Although all passengers managed to swim ashore, Shakil went missing in the incident that also left two people injured, he said.
