Temperature may fall today------------

Rain/thunder showers with intense lightning flashes and temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Sunday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at a few places over Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls over the country.

Mild heat wave may sweep over the districts of Jashore and Satkhira.

Day temperature may fall by (1-2)°C and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 37.6 degrees Celsius at Jashore and the minimum was 18.5 degrees Celsius at Badalgachhi.
