Three children electrocuted

NILPHAMARI, July 15 (UNB): Three children were electrocuted at Derirdanga village under Sadar Upazila Sunday noon.
The deceased were identified as Mominur Rahman (9), son of Asad, Krishna Roy (8), son of Baloram and Jadav (7), son of Amol. Local sources said a pond of the village was electrified Sunday as a live electric wire snapped and fell in the water.
The ill-fated boys went to take bath in the electrified pond at noon and died from electrocution. Another report from Sherpur adds: A teenage boy was electrocuted at Jungledi Noapara village under Sadar Upazila Thursday morning. The deceased was identified as Akiuzzaman Aki (17).
