Three CNG lifters arrested in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, April 2 (BSS): Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three members of an organised gang of CNG-run auto- rickshaw lifters and recovered two stolen three wheelers from different parts of City and district last night.
The arrested persons were identified as Abser Uddin (23), son of late Surat Ali, Mohammad Alamgir (27), son of late Siddique Ahmed, of Sitakunda Upazila in the district, Jashim Uddin (44), son of Shafiqul Alam, of Nanupur area under Fatikchhari Upazila in the district.
Based on secret information, a team of the elite force raided Jail Road area under Kotwali thana in the city and arrested two members of an organised three wheeler lifters Abser Uddin and Alamgir.
