A Dhaka court on Wednesday sentenced three persons to 15-year imprisonment each in a case lodged over recovering 1,04,800 pieces of Yaba tablets from city's Tejgaon Shilpanchal police station area, reports BSS.
The accused who got jail terms are - driver Mamun Howladar, Manik and Alauddin.
Dhaka's Seventh Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Tehsin Iftekhar announced the verdict.
In addition to the jail sentence, they were fined Tk 100,000 each, and in default, they will have to serve one year more in jail.
