Three probe bodies formed over death of three cops

CHATTOGRAM, Aug 28 (UNB): Three separate committees have been formed to investigate the death of its three Government Railway Police (GPR) members in an accident on a level crossing in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram on Sunday noon.

The committees were asked to submit their reports within seven working days.

Meanwhile, police filed a case accusing gateman Mahmud Hasan Dipu for his negligence in duty with Chattogram Railway thana on Sunday night, said Majharul Karim, officer-in-charge (OC) of the railway thana.

He said Fouzdarhat police outpost's in-charge Samiur Rahman first lodged an FIR with the tana on Sunday night and then it was recorded as a case.
