Speakers at a seminar in the city stressed the need Saturday for alternative medicine to ensure sound healthcare facilities for all at affordable prices.
They said Homeopathy can take the role as it not only works to cure the victims' diseases, but also works with all of four elements of happiness -- spiritual, mental, physical and moral issues.
Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies in Homeopathy (BCASH) arranged the daylong seminar on World Spiritual Health Day-2014 at the Public Library auditorium in the capital.
National Professor Dr MR Khan addressed the event as the chief guest with BCASH President Dr MA Qauder in the chair. Homeopathy Board Chairman Dr Dilip Kumar Roy, Notre Dame University Vice Chancellor Father Benjamin Costa and Dhaka University Professor Shukomol Barua, among others, spoke at the seminar.
