Titas snaps several illegal gas connections

The Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited disconnected several illegal gas connections last month in different areas of the country.
It has disconnected 77.03 kilometres gas lines/ connections to six industries, six commercial establishments, one captive and 29,953 residential illegal gas burners for illegally using gas.
One the other hand, gas connection/ supply to 652 residential legal gas burners, eight industries and four captives were also disconnected due to pending of gas bills.
An executive magistrate of Titas carried out disconnection drive in Gazipur, Naryanaganj, Narsingdi and Munshiganj. It also realised Tk 65,000 from illegal gas users.
