Tk 1.0m smuggled magnet recovered in Benapole

BENAPOLE, Jun 18 (UNB): Members of the Bangladesh Rifle recovered 80 pieces of high power smuggled magnet worth Tk 1.0 million (Tk 10 lakh) from a bus at Aamrakhali here Monday morning.
BDR sources said they seized the magnets, which are generally used in the engines of airplanes, from the Dhaka bound bus. They suspected that smugglers brought the magnets into the country from India.
None was arrested in this connection.
